The Benton community enjoys fun and fellowship through several annual events spread throughout the year.

Our city’s community-wide events offer various exciting activities for all ages. Downtown Benton hosts events to coincide with holidays. The annual Easter Adventure provides a chance for children of all ages to hunt thousands of eggs, while Spook City brings the not-too-frightening side of Halloween to the downtown area. Other favorite downtown events include the Christmas and county fair parades.

Every fall, the Benton Chamber’s annual Savor the Flavor of Benton offers patrons the chance to come together to sample great food from various restaurants. In the early spring, another Chamber event, Cajun Feast, boasts what many residents claim is the best Cajun food, a Crawfish Eating Contest and more.  The Chamber's annual banquet is also a well-attended event.  Highlighting the holiday season is the Chamber and Saline Memorial Foundation's glitz & garland.

Other events the community looks forward to include the Senior Adult Center’s fall Old Fashioned Day, the Salt Bowl at War Memorial, and many more. Learn more about featured events through our list.
